Quantock Riding Club
Ride together - Train together - Compete together - Have fun together
About Us
We are a friendly, welcoming club catering to all riders abilities.

Some members compete at affiliated level, while others who are just starting out on the competitive road, have plenty of opportunities to gain experience. As well as training for riders that aren't competitive at all!

Throughout the year we offer a programme of instructions in flatwork, jumping and cross country and hold a variety of events during the year, including combined training and dressage competitions.

Teams have competed at Malvern, Offchurch Bury, Lincoln, Aston Le Walls, Stoneleigh and Swalcliffe in various disciplines over the years in both juniors and seniors.
Important Body Protector Information
There is no grace period from BRC for body protectors. Throughout all BRC riding activities, good safety practices are of paramount importance. This includes the mandatory requirement to wear a body protector when participating in any of our cross-country competitions, or training activities, where fixed fences are in use.
As per the 2024 BRC handbook, and in line with current BETA standards, our rules continue to state that our participants need to wear a BETA level three body protector which displays a Blue 2018 label from 1st January 2024.
